Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is funding in addition to the school’s budget. Schools are free to decide how to allocate this funding to best support the raising of attainment for the most vulnerable pupils.

Current Year

In 2016/17 the school expects to receive approximately £10560 in Pupil Premium and ‘ever 6’ allocations.

In 2016/17 the Pupil Premium will be used in a variety of ways. These include:

  • Financial support for educational visits
  • Transport support to parents’ evenings / review meetings
  • Additional teaching assistant support
  • Free attendance at Breakfast and After School Clubs where needed
  • Funded after school activities where appropriate

Examples of impact in 2016 /17 include:

  • It is anticipated that the gap between attainment of identified pupils and their peers will be reduced
  • Pupils’ attainment and aspirations are increased through greater access to additional activities.

Previous Year

In 2015/16 the school received £11880 in Pupil Premium ‘ever 6’ allocations.
