The school is committed to support every pupil in reaching their full potential. Each child’s progression through the school will prepare them for life, built on Christian Values, to become happy, responsible and confident individuals.

Every teacher is a teacher of every child, including those with SEND.

Our SEND policy complies with statutory requirements and can be found here: https://wilsonsprimary.org.uk/policies/

Our SENDCO is Mrs H Crisp and our SEND governor is Mr P Thomas.

 SEN Parent Complaints

Should a parent or carer have a concern about the special provision made for their child then they should follow the school’s complaints procedure. In the first instance parents are encouraged to discuss the issue with the class teacher.  If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily parents have recourse to the following:

  • discuss the problem with the Headteacher who will liaise with the class teacher and SENCo

More serious on-going concerns should be presented in writing to Chairman of the Governors, who will work in liaison with the SEN Governor.
